Rimini's proposal for the National Program on Innovation for Living Quality articulates on two different project areas: Ex-MOI (Mercato Ortofrutticolo Italiano) and the "Popolarissime" compound in Via Balilla.
Those are two different types of interventions, that local administration wants to propose as synergistic in response to quality housing demand of both the areas.
In the case of Ex-MOI urban regeneration project has to face a more general urban reorganization, providing new important urban facilities allocation. Those aim to work as core interventions able to start the transformation of the whole area, other than triggering the shift of the district into a neighbourhood where the housing use accompanies the transformation of the present economical activities in to uses more compatible within the urban landscape.
