A comprehensive built heritage assessment has been conducted in the Project Area to identify, protect, and celebrate the cultural and historical value of structures, while considering their integration into the broader context of their surroundings. This assessment aimed to guide decisions on conservation, restoration, and development, ensuring a holistic and balanced approach to preserving built heritage for the future.
To support this, a detailed value assessment was also carried out. This evaluation contributes to understanding the cultural heritage significance of the project area, following international practices and guidelines. It determines whether heritage areas hold significant value for a community or group due to social, cultural, or spiritual reasons and demonstrates their contribution to a sense of identity both at the national and international levels.
